Originally hailing from the South Eastern islands of Hong Kong and Taipei, Al Rocco was tailored in London, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Shanghai and now currently resides in Southern California. Best known from his hit singles Red Money, Bruce Lee, City Lights, Differences, The Way You Move… Rocco has been in the frontier of Asian Hip-Hop since his first hit single "Red Money” in 2014, and has been representing the evolving international culture ever-since.

With over 171 million online views and a million plus followers growing across his digital platforms, Al Rocco is quickly being globally recognized as one of the leading faces of the Asian Hip-Hop culture around the world. Unlike your ordinary Chinese rapper, Rocco raps primarily in English. After moving from Los Angeles to Shanghai in 2012 to rediscover and reconnect with his roots, Al has been diversifying his music with more Mandarin and Cantonese. His style of music is made up of Hip-Hop, Rap, Trap and Rnb elements focusing on the ideas of bridging the Eastern and Western culture, breaking stereotypes and representing the rising evolution of third cultured kids.

Rocco has headlined multiple music festivals; SXSW, Ultra China, Storm China, Ayo!, Strawberry, MIDI, MDSK, Heyhou, IGW, HBeLive, 4H.. and has performed along-side with international names like; Jackson Wang, Kris Wu, GEM, Big Bang's Seungri, OT-Genasis, OG Maco, Araabmuzik, Keith Ape, Paloalto, ASAP Mob, Sonny Digital, Lex Luger, Jurassic 5, DJ Q-Bert and many more. Some of Rocco’s first shows were Charities related to support Education and Cancer research, where he performed live on Hong Kong national television (TVB), as well as opened charity events with NBA All-Star Yao Ming.
